Calm, quiet & full of surprises
Jinxy is a middle-aged mini who, like his brother Journey, had been used for a circus-type performance on a farm in Pennsylvania until it closed. They both found themselves at auction, which is where we stepped in to stop them from going into the slaughter pipeline.
He’s a calm and quiet one who we’ve found keeps to himself… but when the blacksmith arrives for hoof trims, his wild side comes out. 😜

Little, but mighty
He may be little, but he is mighty! What he lacks in size, he makes up for in persistence and dedication to getting into your heart — and your pockets!
Even though we tell him all the time that he’s retired and doesn’t need to put on a show, he will gladly roll the ball for some cookies. He’s a love, and will steal kisses when he can.

Our senior resident & perfect gentleman
Mick is our senior resident. At 26, you’d think he was 11! He has a perfect gentleman attitude.
Sadly, he is a draft cross from Canada’s auctions and a byproduct of the Premarin industry. We have had him since he was 3 months of age.

From little fire dragon to gentle giant
Gunner came to us from an auction in Pennsylvania known to ship horses to slaughterhouses in Canada. We purchased him at auction, and he’s been here for just shy of 10 years.
He’s an easygoing boy just looking for a nice pat and some cookies. He came to us as a little fire dragon, and has since mellowed into a gentle giant who loves to meet patients and visitors to the farm.

Our resident princess
Our only female horse on the property, and she will let you know she expects to be treated like a princess! Squishy is all serious, but has some silly moments.
Having spent many years on the racetrack, she is a byproduct of a sport whose horses don’t always make it out alive, sadly. She is a love to be around and has the most gentle of hearts.

Quite the characters
These two are quite the characters. You can’t turn your back, otherwise you’ll lose your keys! Kevin and Bonnie are always up to something.
We promise they won’t try to sell you insurance. 🤪
